Champions Trophy 2025: India unlikely to travel to Pakistan; tournament to be held in hybrid mode

Champions Trophy 2025, ANI reported citing sources on Thursday.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will ask ICC to host matches in hybrid mode in Dubai or Sri Lanka, sources said.
The marquee tournament is scheduled from February 19 to March 9 with March 10 as Reserve Day.
Notably, Pakistan has not hosted any major ICC event since 1996 and will be the first time the Asian nation will do so. Although it did host the entire Asia Cup in 2008 and also some games of the same event last year, this marks a big deal for the 2017 champions.
