Coach’s Feedback on Praggnanandhaa’s Culinary Skills
Ramesh, who is also a highly regarded chess coach, shared the humorous moment on X (formerly Twitter), writing, «First time R Praggnanandhaa is learning to make Dosa at my cost. To be honest, he got better with each attempt.» His post also included a Tamil phrase: «Rendu dosa suda suda parcel,» which translates to «Two hot dosas for takeaway.»
The post quickly gained traction, with fans and followers finding Praggnanandhaa’s cooking attempt both amusing and impressive. One user joked, «Not surprised. Expecting Aravindh to win MasterChef India at some point too.» Another user commented, «Pragg can now start thinking about starting his dosa chain globally—Pragg Dosa and Vada LLC—with headquarters in Chennai and branches in Norway and Los Angeles.»
A Remarkable Year for Praggnanandhaa
Earlier this year, Praggnanandhaa made headlines with his historic victory at the Tata Steel Masters 2025. The young grandmaster triumphed over World Champion D Gukesh in a tense tiebreak match in Wijk aan Zee, Netherlands. His win made him the first Indian since chess legend Viswanathan Anand in 2006 to claim the prestigious title.
