Bhilwara on Monday following a Class 8 girl and her parents' claims and a police complaint that two students from the minority community mixed «human urine in her water bottle» at school. As per ToI report, the incident reportedly took place on Friday, and the clashes escalated when police visited the government school in Luhariya village, Mandal area, to investigate the matter and encountered protesters. Nine individuals were arrested for «disturbing peace,» and heightened police deployment was implemented to prevent further violence.
The boys accused of mixing the water have been identified but cannot be named as they are minors, aged 13 to 14, police told ToI. The water bottle in question has been sent for testing to verify the claims. Police visited the school on Monday to record statements from the principal and teachers, which was not possible earlier due to holidays on Saturday for Muharram and Sunday.
A group, including the girl's parents and other community members, began shouting slogans against the police upon entering the school. Some members of the mob attempted to storm a nearby colony predominantly inhabited by members of the other community. The situation became tense as the two groups confronted each other, but the police intervened and separated them.
