Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2024 counselling is today (December 26, 2023).
Those who took part in the CLAT 2024 counseling process can find the seat allotment details on the official CLAT website (consortiumofnlus.ac.in).
January 2nd (by 1 p.m) is the deadline for submitting fees for the CLAT 2024 first allotment list.
If a candidate is okay with the allocated seat and decides not to take part in subsequent rounds of counselling, they have the option to «freeze» their seat. Opting for this choice shows the candidate's affirmation of the assigned seat at the designated National Law University (NLU) and renders them ineligible for subsequent rounds of CLAT 2024 counseling.
Should a candidate find the allocated seat unsatisfactory and desire to go for further CLAT counseling rounds in 2024, they have the option to «float.» This choice enables the candidate to accept the initially assigned seat while showing that they are willing to participate in additional CLAT 2024 counseling rounds to get a better seat.
If a candidate opts to float and is subsequently allotted a seat in a subsequent round, the seat assigned in the previous round is nullified.
Candidates can withdraw from counselling at any point if they so wish. To do so, one has to choose the exit option, in which case their names won't be considered for further rounds.
