Colgate-Palmolive shares decline 1.19% as Sensex slides
Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd. traded at Rs 2516.85 on BSE at 01:08PM (IST) on Monday, down 1.19 per cent from previous close.
The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 1446.9 and a high of Rs 2620.0.
Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap down opening in the morning.
A total of 2,804 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 01:08PM (IST).
The stock of Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 69084.35 crore.
The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 54.83, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 23.88. Return on equity (ROE) was at 60.84 per cent, according to exchange data.
In the BSE500 pack, 200 stocks traded in the green, while 300 stocks were in the red.
Promotor Holding Promoters held 51.0 per cent in the Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd. as of 31-Dec-2023 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 24.62 per cent and 5.59 per cent, respectively.
