Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on Congress here on Monday, alleging that the party and its allies have lost their moorings and the organisation has outsourced its work to "urban naxals" who call the shots, from deciding slogans to policies. He said Congress is like a rusting iron which is fast nearing its end.
Addressing a rally here, he underscored the passage of women's quota bill, successful hosting of G20 summit and Chandrayaan-3's launch among the achievements of his government. He asserted when «Modi promises something he delivers», thereby leaving no doubt among voters that BJP campaign in the forthcoming polls will be centred around encashing Modi's popularity.

Congress was first wrecked, then it went bankrupt and now it has given its contract (reins) to others. Congress is not being run by its leaders. It is now like a company which is outsourcing everything — from slogans to policies.

Congress is the main political adversary of BJP in Madhya Pradesh and had defeated it in 2018. With BJP being in power for nearly two decades, there is said to be anti-incumbency against it, especially in the wake of toppling of the Kamal Nath-led government.
