The shakeup in investment banking continues as Credit Suisse talent turning to rival firms. Street Talk understands prominent sales trader James Hogan has taken his skills to Bank of America, joining in the same role.
He will enter the bank’s equities team at the end of the month, working alongside traders Tom Halliwell, Michael Habib, and Rob Carver and reporting to head of American Execution Services Karl Guilfoyle.
There, he will service the Bank of America’s local fund manager clients.
Hogan comes with almost three decades of experience in the industry on the buy and sell side, having worked at Credit Suisse for 16 years. Prior, he was a dealer for Rothschild’s asset management business, which later become BT Funds Management.
