The investment will allow Curefoods to leverage Dras Ice's frozen chain logistics to strengthen distribution for its cloud kitchens and quick-service restaurants (QSRs). Dras Ice serves sectors such as hotels, restaurants and catering (HORECA), modern trade channels, and quick commerce platforms.
According to Curefoods, the rapid expansion of quick commerce has significantly driven up demand for high-quality packaged ice.
“Our collaboration with Dras Ice strengthens our ability to support the operational needs of cloud kitchens while addressing a clear market gap in the packaged ice segment,” said chief operating officer Gokul Kandhi.
Founded in 2020 by former Flipkart executive Ankit Nagori, Curefoods houses a variety of brands like EatFit, Cakezone, Nomad Pizza, Sharief Bhai Biryani and Frozen Bottle, among others.
