Lorie Logan, who manages the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s massive holdings of securities and cash, will be the new president and chief executive of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.
Ms. Logan, a 49-year-old executive vice president at the New York Fed, will take over the slot vacated by Robert Kaplan last September. He retired from the bank amid questions about trading in financial markets during his tenure at the bank.
