Teaser, Release Date
AMC Networks released a teaser for the third season of Dark Winds. The noir drama is set to premiere on March 9, 2025, with an expanded eight-episode season. The teaser introduces Joe Leaphorn, played by Zahn McClarnon, as he is haunted by his past. Leaphorn speaks of being bound by the violent acts of his past, revealing his internal struggle.

Plot
The third season picks up six months after the events of Season 2. Joe Leaphorn and Jim Chee, played by Kiowa Gordon, are once again at the center of a new investigation. They try to unravel the mystery surrounding the disappearance of two boys. The only clues left behind are an abandoned bicycle and a patch of ground stained with blood.
Meanwhile, Bernadette Manuelito, portrayed by Jessica Matten, has started a new job with the Border Patrol, located 500 miles from her hometown. She stumbles upon a dangerous conspiracy involving human trafficking and drug smuggling, threatening to impact a larger part of the country.
