Kannada actor Darshan, currently held in judicial custody due to his alleged involvement in the murder of his fan S Renukaswamy, had an emotional meeting with his family and friends at Bengaluru's Central Prison. Darshan, visibly moved, met his wife Vijayalakshmi, son Vineesh, and his actor-friend Vinod Prabhakar, son of Tiger Prabhakar, in prison on Monday. This heartfelt reunion brought tears to Darshan's eyes as he hugged his loved ones during their brief visit.
Darshan's Family Reunion
Vijayalakshmi, accompanied by her son, arrived at the Central Prison premises in her SUV. She sought assistance from the police to navigate the media presence and ensure privacy for her family. After being escorted to the prison entrance, Vijayalakshmi and Vineesh spent a few precious minutes with Darshan, discussing legal strategies and expressing their support during this challenging time.
Vinod Prabhakar shared his sentiments after the meeting, stating, “We didn’t talk much. After he saw me, he said, ‘Hi Tiger’ and I replied, ‘Hi boss’. Then there was silence and I left. As a friend, I came to see him… the law will take its course in the matter.”
In related developments, police investigating the case have requested the income-tax department to investigate the funds seized from Darshan's residence and other suspects, totaling Rs 70.4 lakh. Additionally, four individuals associated with the location where the murder allegedly occurred were brought before a judge for questioning. Police are also analyzing communication records
