Many parts of Delhi, Noida and Gurugram woke up to heavy rains on Sunday morning. The IMD has predicted generally cloudy skies along with moderate rainfall for the national capital today.
The maximum temperature in Delhi is likely to hover around 34 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is likely to be around 26 degrees Celsius on Saturday. In a tweet on Saturday, IMD's Regional Weather Forecasting Centre (RWFC) informed, “Light to moderate intensity rain would occur over and adjoining areas of few places of Delhi, NCR ( Noida, Dadri, Greater Noida, Faridabad) Rewari, Bawal, Nuh (Haryana) Hapur, Gulaoti, Siyana, Sikandrabad, Bulandshahar (U.P.), Bhiwari, Kotputli (Rajasthan) during next 2 hours." Many parts of Delhi including Civil Lines, Laxmi Nagar and Lajpat Nagar had witnessed heavy rainfall on Friday while other areas in the national capital like Jasola and Okhla witnessed overcast skies.
According to the IMD website, Delhi is likely to witness similar weather conditions on Saturday with a forecast of light rain or drizzle coupled with generally cloudy skies. No rainfall is expected on July 31, while the temperature could get a bit warmer with the maximum temperature going up to 37 degrees Celsius.
Delhi is likely to witness light rain or drizzle on August 1, with the maximum and minimum temperatures settling around 37 and 27 degrees Celsius respectively. Weathermen have predicted rainfall in the national capital on August 2 and 3, which could lead to a slight drop in temperatures.
