Diablo 4 Season 1 Release Date, Battle pass: Everything we know so far

Diablo 4 (Diablo IV) was poised to release its season 1 in July and somehow, it appears that it is happening soon, so there’s good news. Blizzard will be kicking off a developer live stream on the game’s official YouTube and Twitch channels on July 6 at 2 pm ET. In a press note, Diablo 4 makers noted that the upcoming live stream will include all the information on the game's theme, release date and more information.

As per the reports, it may be available by mid-July, which marks more than a month since Diablo IV was released. However, this is also an advantage for players who are yet to complete the story. While we don’t have a solid release date, at the moment, game’s general manager Rod Fergusson has assured that the release date announcement may happen next week.

Season 1 will introduce the game's initial battle pass, which is optional. Blizzard has confirmed that players can access 27 free tiers of content without purchasing the battle pass. However, those who do buy the battle pass will unlock all 27 free tiers and an additional 63 premium tiers. Each season, released every quarter, will accompany a new battle pass. There will be three options to choose from: Free tier: Available to all players at no cost, offering limited items and progression through 27 tiers. Premium tier: Costs approximately $10 and provides access to all 63 tiers of content. Accelerated tier: The priciest choice, around $25, grants access to exclusive content, twenty tier skips, and a unique cosmetic item.FAQs
