But his recent comments about his youngest son, Barron Trump, have left many people scratching their heads. During an interview with Fox News' Laura Ingraham, Trump expressed amazement at Barron’s «unbelievable aptitude in technology»—after witnessing him turn his laptop back on.
The 19-year-old, who is currently studying at New York University's prestigious Stern School of Business, apparently left his father in awe with his ability to access his laptop after it had been turned off. Recalling the moment, Trump shared, “I turn off his laptop, I said, ‘Oh good,’ and I go back five minutes later, he’s got his laptop. I said, ‘How’d you do that?’ ‘None of your business, Dad.’”

As soon as Trump’s remarks made their way online, social media users were quick to poke fun at the seemingly low bar being set for tech savviness. Reddit users compared the situation to being praised for assembling LEGO blocks or putting a DVD into a player. Others speculated that Barron had merely woken the laptop from sleep mode rather than cracking any kind of sophisticated security system.
One user quipped, “Sounds like Trump doesn’t know about sleep mode.” Another added, “He thinks his kid is a genius for turning a laptop back on? My parents once thought I was a hacker because I could close pop-ups.”

We’ve already started this transition, and we plan to do more of it this fiscal.”Beyond mobile phones and laptops, EMS firms are expanding into smart metres for electricity boards, aerospace and defence subsystems, railway safety instrumentation, printed circuit boards and display assemblies, and medical devices deployed in hospitals.India’s annual mobile phone shipments have remained subdued since the covid-19 pandemic, with industry estimates pointing to a single-digit decline this calendar year from 152 million smartphones shipped last year.The margin pressure driving this shift is increasingly visible.In FY26, Syrma SGS reported an operating margin of 7.1%, up 2.3 percentage points.
