As Barron Trump turns 19, US President reveals what the business college student plans to do for a career
Melania Trump, has stepped into adulthood as he celebrated his 19th birthday on March 20. Initially, Barron largely stayed out of the public eye but gained prominence when he attended the high-profile inauguration of Donald Trump on January 20.
Standing at an impressive 6-foot-7, he draws attention not only for his height but also for his reserved nature and infrequent public appearances with his family. Now a freshman at New York University, Barron is forging his own path while continuing to intrigue many.
Will Barron Trump join politics?
President Trump heaped praises on his son Barron ahead of his birthday and called him a «very smart guy», adding that he considers him exceptionally smart and intelligent. Barron also helped Trump during the 2024 election campaign and his advice to reach out to Gen-Z and first-time voters proved top-notch, Trump said in an interview to Fox News.

In the same interview, Trump revealed that Barron may not follow his father's footsteps and may do something absolutely different — neither business nor politics. The president said Barron's aptitude lies in technology.

“Is Barron’s aptitude in your view business or politics?” Laura Ingraham asked during the interview. “Maybe technology,” the president said, though Barron is now studying business at New York University's Stern School of Business.
“He can look at a computer… I turn off his laptop, I said, ‘Oh good,’ and I go back about five minutes later, he’s got his laptop, I say, ‘How do you do that?’” Trump said sharing an anecdote. And the reply he gets from Barron is: “None of your business, dad.”
