Dune: Prophecy, a prequel to the Dune universe, will be available in 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD on May 13, 2025. The release will include exclusive content for fans. The series, inspired by the novel Sisterhood of Dune, follows two Harkonnen sisters.

Emily Watson and Olivia Williams portray Valya and Tula Harkonnen in Dune: Prophecy. Other cast members include Travis Fimmel, Jodhi May, Mark Strong, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, Chloe Lea, Jade Anouka, Faoileann Cunningham, Edward Davis, Aoife Hinds, Chris Mason, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Camilla Beeput, Jihae, Tabu, Charithra Chandran, Jessica Barden, Emma Canning, Yerin Ha and Barbara Marten.

Production Team

The series was developed by Diane Ademu-John and Alison Schapker. Schapker also served as the showrunner and executive producer. Ademu-John was among the executive producers. Anna Foerster directed multiple episodes, including the first, and also served as an executive producer. Other executive producers include Jordan Goldberg, Mark Tobey, John Cameron, Matthew King, Scott Z. Burns and Jon Spaihts. Bestselling author Brian Herbert was involved, with Byron Merritt and Kim Herbert executive producing for the Frank Herbert estate. The series was co-produced by HBO and Legendary Television. Author Kevin J. Anderson also worked as a co-producer.
