Elon Musk today said that an epic location has been found for the cage match with Mark Zuckerberg. The owner of X (formerly Twitter) said that the fight will be managed by his and Zuckerberg's foundation and not UFC. Musk further revealed that the match will be livestreamed on X as well as on Meta platforms.
«The fight will be managed by my and Zuck’s foundations (not UFC). Livestream will be on this platform and Meta. Everything in camera frame will be ancient Rome, so nothing modern at all,» Musk tweeted.
«I spoke to the PM of Italy and Minister of Culture. They have agreed on an epic location,» he added. Earlier this week, Musk had revealed that he may need to get surgery before the proposed «cage match».
The anticipation for a real-life showdown between two tech magnates, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, reached a crescendo in late June. While the prospect of an actual physical confrontation remains uncertain, the digital duel between the billionaire duo continues to captivate online audiences, each trading playful jabs and stoking intrigue. Elon Musk, known for his audacious statements, initially announced that the event's proceeds would be dedicated to a charity benefitting veterans.
Mark Zuckerberg, no stranger to physical combat with his background in mixed martial arts (MMA), responded, indicating his readiness for the challenge. «I'm ready today. I suggested Aug 26 when he first challenged, but he hasn't confirmed,» Zuckerberg affirmed, revealing his martial arts prowess and his commitment to his combat training.
