Escapist: List of Writers Who've Stepped Away Continues to Expand
The Escapist, a prominent gaming and entertainment website, faces a wave of changes as numerous writers have left the platform. It all began with the termination of Editor-in-Chief Nick Calandra. Calandra, along with other colleagues, is reportedly collaborating on a new project. Following Calandra's departure, an increasing number of Escapist team members have either been dismissed or chosen to resign.

Calandra revealed that he was fired from The Escapist, declined his severance pay, and refused to sign an NDA.
Yahtzee Croshaw:
Yahtzee Croshaw, known for the long-running series "Zero Punctuation," formally resigned from The Escapist and Gamurs. He stated that he does not have the rights to «Zero Punctuation» but assured his fans that they would hear his voice again soon in a new place.
Janjo, Former Senior Media Producer:
Janjo, a former Senior Media Producer at The Escapist, announced on Twitter that he was fired by the platform. He mentioned that the entire video team was either fired or walked out.
Parkes Harman:
Parkes Harman shared his departure, stating that he was no longer with The Escapist. He expressed gratitude for the opportunities and the talented individuals he had worked with during his time at the website.
