BJP and 400 plus for the NDA in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leading from the front being the face of the party campaign.
Sources tell ET that PM Modi will reach out to every Lok Sabha constituency with 'Modi Ki Guarantee' campaign. As per party sources, the number of rallies by Modi is likely to exceed the 2019 election number. In 2019, Modi addressed 142 public rallies and four roadshows reaching out directly to an estimated 1.5 crore people.
Till Thursday, PM Modi has addressed 11 rallies across nine states since the announcement of elections. He has addressed two rallies each in Telangana and Karnataka, one each in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, UP, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and West Bengal. As per the schedule planned for Modi, he will address one rally for every three to four Lok Sabha seats. In states like UP, Bihar, Maharashtra which have 40 or more than 40 seats, Modi will address 18 to 25 rallies. Apart from that, the PM has also taken up the task of energising the party workers through interaction at the booth level and online tiffin meetings.
