Sussex India Scholarships is offered to Indian students who want to pursue postgraduate-level programs at the University of Sussex. Recipient of this grant is rewarded with a reduction in tuition fee and the university offers an unlimited number of scholarships to eligible applicants. Students get up to £3,000 waiver.Eligibility
Should be a resident of India Be classified as ‘overseas’ for fee purposes Be taking up a place on a full time Masters degree, starting September 2023You are not eligible for this scholarship if you are going to study any of the following:
Certificates and Diplomas (including PGCE) Courses at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) Development Studies MA Early Years Education (with Early Years Teacher status) Globalisation, Business and Development MA Governance, Development and Public Policy MA Power, Participation and Social Change MA Poverty and Development MA Degrees in Social work (if receiving an NHS bursary) Online courses Schools direct teaching courses Masters funded by the research councils (e.g. ESRC 1+3 funding) As this is funded by the University of Sussex, it is not possible to combine this with other Sussex scholarships (e.g. Chancellor's International Scholarship).Application Process After receiving your confirmed admission letter, you can apply for the scholarship via PG Apply. If you have applied via one of our overseas representatives, you will need to ask them to do this on your behalf. You will only be able to accept one University of Sussex scholarship. You must declare your interest in the scholarship via PG Apply before registering on your Masters degree. Information about the scholarship will be included in your CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Study) for your visa
