Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL), Delta Corp, Granules India and The India Cements stocks are under the F&O ban for trade on Monday, July 10, 2023. The banned stocks will be available for trading in the cash market. The F&O contracts of any stock enter the ban period when the open interest (OI) on it crosses 95% of the market-wide positions limits or MWPL.
The ban on it is reversed only if the open interest falls below 80%. Traders who trade in indices do not encounter a situation of security ban. The MWPL for BHEL stood at 88.5% on Friday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 104.9 million.
It was down 9.9% from the previous session. BHEL shares ended last week at Rs 91.65, down by Rs 1.45 or 1.56%. The MWPL for Delta Corp stood at 108.7% on Friday with OI reported by Trendlyne at 21.6 million.
It was down 4.8% from the previous session. Delta Corp shares ended at Rs 248.20, down by Rs 4.95 or 1.96% from the previous closing price. The MWPL for Granules India stood at 102.2%, with OI reported by Trendlyne at 12.1 million.
It was up 4.6% from the previous session. Granules India shares rose Rs 10.90 or 3.62% to settle Friday's trade at Rs 311.80. Meanwhile, the MWPL for India Cements stood at 99.7%, with OI reported by Trendlyne at 19.9 million.
It was up 12.2% from the previous session. India Cements shares ended marginally lower at Rs 210.35. Indian frontline indices S&P BSE Sensex and Nifty50 witnessed a stellar rally last week with new record highs hit by both indices.
