streaming service, FanCode, on Monday announced that it has inked an exclusive partnership deal with Formula 1®, becoming the sole broadcast partner for the premiere motorsports race in India for the 2024 and 2025 seasons.
This also marks the company's entry in a new sport, going beyond cricket, football and hockey among others.
The announcement comes as Formula 1® gears up for its longest-ever season, featuring a staggering 24 races set to commence on February 29 in Bahrain. Indian fans can be a part of live action via FanCode's coverage, which includes all practice and qualifying sessions, F1 Sprint events and Grands Prix throughout the season, available across multiple devices, including smart TVs, mobile phones and tablets.
Further, Formula 1® aficionados will also have the flexibility to tailor their viewing preferences, with options to purchase individual race passes or opt for a season pass granting access to all 24 races.
“Aside from providing F1 fans with a world class experience, we look forward to taking the sport to a wider audience across the country,” said FanCode co-founder Yannick Colaco.
Ian Holmes, Director of Media Rights and Content Creation at Formula 1 showed great enthusiasm in bringing the sport to India and for the Indian audience through this partnership.
