BJP's nationwide campaign «Shree Ram Janm-Bhoomi Darshan» on January 24, the party's Ayodhya district unit will have a challenging task to coordinate with 'Ram Bhakts' entering the holy city from the country's various states.
The party's Ayodhya district unit is tasked to ensure proper welcome for all devotees in the holy city.
Ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, the party apparently aims to touch the country's all parliamentary constituencies under the campaign «Shree Ram Janm-Bhoomi Darshan».
BJP's top leaders, including general secretary (organisation) B L Santosh, general secretaries Sunil Bansal and Vinod Tawde are monitoring the campaign and are in constant touch with the BJP's Ayodhya district unit for its success. BJP's national president J P Nadda will launch this campaign on January 24 after offering prayers at Ram temple in Ayodhya.
«It is an opportunity for us.
We will ensure proper welcome to all Ram Bhakts entering Ayodhya from the country's different parts. We will take care of everything, right from accommodation, transportation, proper meals and medical facilities,» BJP's Ayodhya district president Sanjeev Singh told ET on phone.
Sources said BJP's Ayodhya unit has already made arrangements for accommodation of around 25,000 devotees in the holy city.
«Cultural programmes like Ram Bhajan, Kirtan and Ram Leela would also be held at these places.
If devotees come from Andhra Pradesh, Kerala or Telangana, BJP's cultural team of the same state will entertain them,» a BJP leader said.
About 500 party workers from different states will come to Ayodhya city to extend all support to the party's Ayodhya unit.
