Atmecs Global said it will host the grand finale of its GenAI hackathon in Hyderabad on October 26-27.
The hackathon, commenced on August 30 in collaboration with HackerEarth, has provided a platform for participants to demonstrate their technical prowess and creativity. The finale will focus on the themes, each of which poses a unique challenge for developers to address using Generative AI technologies, the company said in a statement.
These themes are: 1. Enterprise RAG – Revolutionizing Decision-Making with Generative AI; 2. NIM (NVIDIA Inference Microservices) – Scaling AI Performance and Efficiency and 3. Healthcare Innovation – Transforming Medicine with Multimodal AI, the company with offices in Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore and Hyderabad, added in its statement.
The hackathon received 4,900 registrations with submission of 490 ideas. However, after evaluations, 266 ideas were shortlisted, and 122 prototypes passed on for review. Out of these, 20 prototypes advanced to the grand finale, with the top five contenders presenting their solutions to the jury. The diversity of ideas highlights the participants' commitment to pushing the limits of Generative AI, said Ravi Velagapudi, founder of Atmecs Global.
The company has announced prizes of Rs 5 lakh, Rs 4 lakh and Rs 3 lakh for the top three winners. “These prizes recognize not just technical excellence but the potential to drive real-world innovation,” the statement said.
