Annie Potts Hints at Meemaw’s Return

Annie Potts recently generated buzz on social media by sharing a photo of Meemaw’s sign on set, accompanied by the official logo of Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage.
The post also included images of Potts with Rachel Bay Jones and Melissa Peterman. Jones, known for her role as Mandy’s mother Audrey in Young Sheldon, and Peterman, who played Brenda Sparks, are confirmed cast members for the new series.

In addition to Jones and Peterman, Will Sasso will appear as Jim McAllister, Mandy's brother Connor will be portrayed by Dougie Baldwin, and Jessie Prez will join as Ruben, an employee at Jim’s tire shop. These new faces are set to contribute to the series' fresh narrative while maintaining ties to the original Young Sheldon series, as per a report by Pinkvilla.
