Gina Rinehart shopping for Liontown shares again
Here we go again!
Gina Rinehart was shopping for Liontown shares again on Tuesday evening. Trevor Collens
Stockbroker Euroz Hartleys crossed a line of 48 million shares in Liontown Resources after market close on Tuesday, with fingers once again pointing to Gina Rinehart as the buyer.
The trade was worth just over 2 per cent of the company. It should take Rinehart to about 14.5 per cent of the register.
It comes as the clock ticks on Albemarle’s four-week due diligence at Liontown, which was announced on September 4.
Rinehart has been buying more of the stock at $3 since September 11. Hancock has said it wants a big say in the future of Liontown, while spelling out concerns about Liontown’s flagship Kathleen Valley project in the northern goldfields of Western Australia.
