We recently had the opportunity to engage in a conversation with Krsnaa Mehta, the Founder and Design Director of India Circus, a Godrej venture, to discuss his forthcoming expansion strategies and initiatives.
Q1. Tell us what inspired you to venture into the world of sophisticated India-inspired homeware and artefacts.
During my years of studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York, I couldn't help but notice a significant gap in the market.
There was a distinct shortage of products that drew inspiration from the rich and diverse culture of India, and I also observed a limited selection of unique gift choices. This awareness ignited the initial spark for me to consider the possibility of creating a brand that would fill this void by offering a range of elegant homeware and artefacts inspired by India's vibrant heritage.
