According to 'Variety', the movie has already brought in $194 million worldwide in its opening weekend. According to 'EntTelligence' 'Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire' is likely to attract more than 5.5M admissions this weekend.
Projected to collect $55 million
The monster movie was projected to collect $50 million to $55 million at the beginning. But the film that depicts two beasts team up to save the planet, trounced all projections. The premium large formats and audience enthusiasm helped 'Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire' help perform better than expected.

The Adam Wingard-directed movie commanded 56% of all foot traffic and 89% of all premium format admissions. Imax and PLF drove 38% of the gross with 3D responsible for 19%.

Starring Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, and Dan Stevens, 'Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire' has been directed by Adam Wingard. It got a 55% 'Rotten Tomatoes' average.
Second-biggest debut for Warner Bros.
It received the second-biggest debut for Warner Bros. and Legendary’s MonsterVerse, after 2014’s 'Godzilla' ($93 million). It is ahead of 2017’s 'Kong: Skull Island' ($61 million), 2019’s 'Godzilla: King of the Monsters' ($47.7 million) and 2021’s 'Godzilla vs. Kong' ($31 million while on HBO Max).
