The Android maker is now planning to enhance the functionality of this AI feature by enabling students to complete their homework.
The new functionality in Cirlce to Search will provide students a step by step guide to solving a range of physics and math problems. Google also stated that while Cirlce to Search is already available in over 100 million devices, it is planning to bring that experience to more devices. Whether the feature will remain exclusive to Google and Samsung devices or rollout to more OEMs in the future does remains to be seen.
Google announced on Tuesday that it is providing a major boost to Gemini Nano, it's lightweight on-device AI model seen on Pixel and Samsung devices. The new model Gemini Nano 1.0 comes with multimodal capabilities ,meaning it can understand sights, sounds and spoken words, apart from the text prompts. The latest AI model will first be rolled out with the Pixel 9 series later this year.
