Addressing the press conference in Chandigarh on Wednesday, the former Union Minister said, «I would like to thank all the INDIA alliance partners--Congress, Aam Aadmi Party, Samajwadi Party, Rashtriya Janata Dal… The results are because of their hard work, and passion...».
Taking a jibe at the BJP, Tewari asserted, «The way results were calculated and the way the slogan of 'Abki baar, 400 paar' was publicised is different from the reality».
He added further, «The ground issues of inflation, unemployment, Agniveer scheme, the concern people had towards the Constitution, all these were seen in the elections.»
