India's independence, the city residents are eagerly participating in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan 2.0.’ The campaign allows people to purchase the national flag, measuring 20x30 inches, from their nearest post office for a nominal cost of Rs 25. This initiative aims to promote patriotism and national pride among citizens. To make the process more accessible, individuals can also order the tricolour online through the official website www.epostoffice.gov.in.

Registering on the portal is not mandatory; users can place orders as guest users by simply providing their mobile number and a one-time password. During the order placement, essential details such as name, address, mobile number, and the number of flags required will be required. Each user can order a maximum of 5 flags, ensuring widespread availability for everyone.Vivek Daksh, the postmaster general at the head office of the postal region in Lucknow, emphasized the importance of spreading awareness about the campaign.

To achieve this, the post offices are setting up selfie points featuring photographs of postal tickets and philately frames. This creative approach aims to encourage people to take pictures with the tricolour and share their patriotic spirit with friends and family. The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan 2.0’ has been gaining immense popularity, evident from the staggering success of the previous year when approximately 13 lakh tricolours were sold.
