Hina Khan prays for safety of Hindus in Bangladesh, after reports confirm over 200 communal attacks
Hina Khan is winning hearts across the Internet for coming out in support of Bangladeshi Hindus, who have been the target of communal attacks ever since the former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was made to resign after an uprising.
Taking to X, the ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actress mourned how minorities become the casualties in every political upheaval and sent her prayers to the minorities of Bangladesh.
“Every innocent death is the death of humanity, no matter what country caste or religion. No community should go through such horrific acts, what’s wrong is wrong. Preservation of minorities in any country is the symbol of their collective community nature. My heart goes out to every individual who’s suffering all around the world. Because for me, humanity comes first. I pray that the Hindus and other minorities of Bangladesh remain safe in their own country,” she tweeted.
She also quoted a verse from the Holy Quran. “If anyone kills a person, it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved all mankind. Chapter 5 verses 32-33. Holy Quran.”
