BJP) on Monday issued a statement, calling out Kangana Ranaut on her statement linking the current unrest in Bangladesh to the farmers protest of 2020 in India.
In its statement, the BJP said that it doesn't agree with Ranaut's statement on India's farm agitation of 2020.
«The statement given by Kangana Ranaut on the farmers protests is not in line with the party's opinion on the matter. The party disagrees with Miss Kangana Ranaut,» the statement read.
Furthermore, the Saffron party said that it has directed Ranaut to refrain from making such statements in the future.
«The Bhartiya Janata Party has instructed Miss Kangana Ranaut to refrain from making any such statements in the future,» the statement read further.
In an interivew, BJP MP from Mandi Kangana Ranaut had claimed that 'Bangladesh-like anarchy could have happened in India during the farmers' protests."
«Bangladesh like anarchy could have happened in India also like in the name of Farmers protest. Outside forces are planning to destroy us with the help of insiders. If it wouldn't have been foresight of our leadership they would have succeeded.»
Ranaut had on Sunday retweeted a post highlighting her comments from the interview.
