Susan Sarandon was on Wednesday dropped by her talent agency UTA following her controversial remarks on the ongoing Israel-Hamas war in Gaza.
The Thelma & Louise star, while addressing a pro-Palestine rally in New York on Friday, lambasted at the Jewish community, saying they were «getting a taste of how it feels to be Muslim in America”.
“There are a lot of people that are afraid, that are afraid of being Jewish at this time. Jews in America are getting a taste of what it feels like to be a Muslim in this country, so often subjected to violence,» the 77-year-old actress said at the rally.
