Paetongtarn Shinawatra, the youngest person ever to hold the office, has declared assets totalling over $400 million. The declaration, filed with the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) on Friday, detailed her substantial wealth, which includes luxury handbags, watches, and a collection of high-end vehicles. Among the assets reported were more than 200 designer handbags worth over $2 million, 75 luxury watches valued at nearly $5 million, and 23 vehicles, including a Bentley and a Rolls-Royce Phantom.

Paetongtarn, who took office in September 2023, is the fourth member of the Shinawatra family to serve as Thailand’s prime minister. She is the youngest daughter of telecom billionaire and former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, who is among the wealthiest individuals in the country.
In her official asset declaration, Paetongtarn reported 13.8 billion baht ($400 million) in total assets. This includes investments worth 11 billion baht, cash and deposits amounting to 1 billion baht, and luxury items such as designer handbags and watches. Her collection of 75 watches alone is valued at 162 million baht, while 217 handbags were listed at a combined worth of 76 million baht. She also owns property in London and Japan.
