Ipsita Dasgupta, senior vice president and managing director of HP India, has purchased a luxury apartment in Mumbai’s Worli locality for more than Rs 22.50 crore.
Dasgupta was roped in by HP India from Apple in October and will be responsible for leading all aspects of the company’s strategy and profit and loss (P&L) in India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
She has bought the apartment on 4th floor of super-premium project Raheja Artesia from the developer K Raheja Corp Homes. The deal was executed by Genext Hardware & Parks, one of the subsidiaries of the real estate developer.
The deal, executed on October 26, has attracted more than Rs 22.56 lakh in fees, showed documents accessed through Zapkey.com.
The apartment is spread over 2,964 sq ft of area along with a 100-sq-ft balcony space.
As part of the deal, Dasgupta will also get exclusive access to 3 car parking slots.
The super-premium residential tower Raheja Artesia is spread over 5-acre land parcel in Worli. The tower has witnessed deals at an average price of Rs 1.25 lakh per sq ft and has the likes of Deepak Parekh, Keki Mistry, and the Taparias in the list of buyers.
ET’s separate email queries to Dasgupta and K Raheja Corp Homes remained unanswered.
Mumbai, the country’s biggest and most expensive property market, has continued its record-setting spree by registering its best October performance ever as demand continued to be robust and its conversion in actual sales surged with the onset of the festive season despite higher mortgage rates and property prices.
The country’s commercial capital has witnessed registration of 10,566 properties during the month, up 25.5% from a year ago.
