Husband and wife financial advisors Kevin Okim and Deborah Okim have made a big decision to switch affiliation after more than two decades with their old firm.
“It was not an easy decision for Kevin and me to transition from our previous firm after two decades, but the time came for us to look for a platform that offers the freedom and resources for us to excel as a team for our clients and for ourselves,” Deborah Okim explained. “With great care and diligence, we found a partner in Raymond James that will allow us to build on our experience so that we can continue to deliver the high quality service our clients deserve.”
The duo has joined Raymond James’ independent advisor channel from Edward Jones, where they managed almost $260 million. Their team at Okim Wealth Management in Reston, Virginia, includes two client service associates, Elizabeth Mendoza and Michelle Roof.
“After much deliberation and due-diligence we decided to partner with Raymond James for its innovative resources, personalized attention and most importantly our shared ‘client-first’ culture,” Kevin Okim said. “We are confident that this partnership provides us the autonomy to deliver what we believe is a more comprehensive, full-service experience using more advanced financial planning tools, a broader investment strategies platform and the ability to provide expanded banking and lending solutions to help our clients meet their long-term financial goals.”Read more on investmentnews.com
