ODI World Cup 2023 is nearly upon us, with only a week remaining before the tournament begins. The reigning champions, England, will face off against New Zealand in the first match of this highly anticipated tournament. This match will be held in Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium.
India, who presently leads all three cricket forms, will kick off their campaign on October 8th in Chennai against five-time winner Australia. It should be noted that India has not won an ICC trophy since 2013, and they are desperate to break the ten-year drought.
Prior to the main competition, each of the 10 competing teams will play two warm-up matches. From September 29 to October 3, these practice games will be staged at three separate locations in India.
India will take on England and the Netherlands in their two warm-up matches, which will be held in Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram, respectively.
