Udisha Dubey, an IIT Roorkee graduate and associate at Goldman Sachs according to her LinkedIn profile, is seeking a female flatmate to share her 2BHK apartment in Koramangala.
In her advertisement, Ms. Dubey apparently utilized a design app to showcase images and details of the apartment. Captioning her post, she wrote, «Flatmate Alert! Hey folks! I'm looking for a female flatmate for my 2BHK in 8th Block, Koramangala, just a 5-minute walk from DYU Art Cafe. Please repost for visibility & DM for deets!» Additionally, she disclosed rent details — Rs. 13,750 per person, a deposit of Rs. 50,000, and a move-in date of 1st April.
Ms. Dubey's post quickly gained traction on the internet, garnering 1.7 lakh views within two days. Many praised her initiative while many considered the rent to be very low given that Bengaluru has seen a sharp rise in rents in recent years.
