IMD says fog likely to become more dense in north India, issues advisory for citizens

India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday said that the fog is likely to become more dense and extend over remaining parts of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab and some more parts of north Rajasthan and north Madhya Pradesh during the night.
The weather department has also issued an advisory for the citizens.
In its advisory, the MET stated the following:
- Fog conditions may affect some airports, highways and railway routes.
- Difficult driving conditions with slower journey times.
- Unless taken precautionary measures, it may lead to some road traffic collisions.
