Rajesh Prasad, Director of Operations, RVNL, says: “last year, in FY22-23, for the first time, we crossed the turnover or top line of Rs 20,000 crore. The bottom line was also at an all-time high. The commissioning was also at an all-time high.
This quarter, in Q1, we had a turnover of more than Rs 5,400 crore, an increase of around 17%, and the bottom line also increased by 17-18%. This Q1, is also at an all-time high.”Just wanted to understand how the quarter went by? From what we understand, while it was steady on a yearly basis, it was a little soft on a sequential basis. What are the revenue, as well as margin targets that you may have set out for the full year?I will make a small correction.
I am the Director of Operations. The Director of Finance is having some engagements, so he is not here today. Anyway, the question which you have asked is about the quarter, and then the whole year’s performance and the future way forward.
Last year, in FY22-23, for the first time, we crossed the turnover or top line of Rs 20,000 crore. The bottom line was also at an all-time high. The commissioning was also at an all-time high.
This quarter, in Q1, we had a turnover of more than Rs 5,400 crore, an increase of around 17%, and the bottom line also increased by 17-18%. This Q1 of RVNL, is an all-time high. So whatever we have been doing, we are moving forward.
We are getting a lot of success and regarding this FY23-24, the top line would be around Rs 21,000 crore plus. The bottom line in the last financial year was around Rs 1270 crore. This year, we will definitely cross the Rs 1,400 crore mark and this is a government company.
