The icon breathed his last on April 30, 2020.
On the 70th birth anniversary of the late star, several family members took to Twitter to pay tributes. Wife Neetu Kapoor shared several clips of his hit films such as ‘Kaarz’, ‘Chandni’, ‘Kapoor & Sons’ on Instagram, and wrote, “In remembrance (folded hands emoji)." The post received hearts from daughter Riddhima Kapoor and other celebs such as Ekta Kapoor, Saba Ali Khan, etc.
Kapoor’s sister Riddhima also penned an emotional post on Instagram to her father. Sharing several pictures of the ‘Bobby’ star with herself and her brother Ranbir, she wrote, “Happy Birthday Papa (white heart emoji).
Miss you a little more today….
Niece, Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor also remembered her uncle. Sharing a black and white throwback picture of them posing together, she wrote, “Happy birthday Chintu Uncle...Always in our (red heart emoji). Miss you."
However, the Kapoor family were not the only ones to mourn the late veteran.
‘Munnabhai MBBS’ star Sanjay Dutt also dedicated a small tribute to the late actor. “Chintu Sir was more than family, he embodied the essence of one of the finest actors and human beings. His infectious laughter, stories, and genuineness knit us together.
