With limited time to adjust to Dubai’s conditions, which differ significantly from those in Pakistan, Friday’s session was crucial ahead of their big match. While Saturday’s practice would focus on familiarizing themselves with the Dubai International Stadium, this session was essential for fine-tuning their preparations. As the players completed their warm-ups and got ready for training, they were met by a familiar figure.
Former Pakistan cricketer Mudassar Nazar gathered the squad for a team talk before they began practice. Nazar, with extensive experience in Dubai’s conditions, has worked with the ICC Academy and coached UAE’s senior and U-19 teams.
