T20 World Cup 2024 is reaching the shores of America. The event marks the first time an ICC World Cup will be held in the USA. Newly built, state-of-the-art modular 34,000-capacity stadium in Nassau County, New York will host eight world cup matches including the marquee clash between two giants of world cricket — India and Pakistan.

India versus Pakistan T20 World Cup 2024 match is scheduled to be played on June 9. The match scheduled to start at 10.30 am (EDT).

The ninth edition of the Men's T20 World Cup begins on June 1 and will be played across the USA and West Indies. The official launch of the Trophy Tour for the event took place at the famous Empire State Building in New York as the iconic skyscraper lit up in navy and pink — the official tournament colours — with Chris Gayle pulling the lever to illuminate the structure.

Newly renovated existing venues Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Dallas and Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill will each host four fixtures. Co-hosts West Indies have a rich history in T20 cricket, having won the T20 World Cup twice, with popular Caribbean tourist destinations, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Guyana, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad and Tobago all hosting matches.
