More than 150 private jet flights — four times the usual traffic — have ferried some of India's wealthiest people to and from Ahmedabad, as per data from the city airport. Most of these business jets can carry four to 15 passengers and their rates range between Rs 2 and Rs 12 lakh per hour. The Ahmedabad airport has run out of parking slots for private jets and was giving conditional approval to some of these jets.
