Indiana Jones 5 collected around $7.2 million in previews on Thursday, maker Disney confirmed. It now opens in 4,600 theaters weekend which goes up to Fourth of July holiday, giving it a decent time. The fifth installment of Indiana Jones franchise is projected to earn $65 million in its opening weekend. However, the movie's whopping $295 million budget poses a challenge for it to mint a profit. The previous installment in the franchise, released in 2008, achieved impressive box office results, but «Dial of Destiny» will need strong support from nostalgic fans to reach similar heights. Nevertheless, Indiana Jones and The Dial made it five nominations at the 2023 Golden Trailer Awards.
