Industry veteran returns to Aegon AM as senior sales director
Martin Canavan (pictured) has 30 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Aegon AM, he was a UK wholesale sales director at River and Mercantile Asset Management.
Canavan will cover accounts across the north of England, Scotland, Ireland and Isle of Man, spanning the firm's client base of wealth managers, financial advisers, family offices and global fund institutions.
He will report to head of UK wholesale Mark Ferguson, and is based out of the firm's Edinburgh office.

Canavan brings 30 years' industry experience, including as UK wholesale sales director at River and Mercantile Asset Management.
He also spent ten years at Merian Global Investors, where he was UK wholesale sales manager.
Canavan rejoins Aegon AM, following his first spell at the firm as business development consultant between 2006 and 2010.
