Sunil Gavaskar heaped praises on the Royal Challengers Bengaluru for their «absolutely phenomenal» performance in the second half of the Indian Premier League 2024.
Initially struggling at the bottom of the table, RCB staged a remarkable turnaround by winning their last six matches, concluding the league stage campaign in the top four with 14 points.
In the first eight games, RCB secured only one victory against the Punjab Kings. This marks the fourth occasion in the last five seasons that RCB has reached the IPL playoffs.
