Noor Ahmad was picked by Chennai Super Kings for Rs 10 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction on Sunday at Jeddah.
The left-arm wrist spinner was initially sold for Rs 5 crore to CSK. Gujarat Titans opted to use their Right to Match card, but CSK raised the bid to Rs 10 crore to which GT disagreed.
The youngster has played 23 IPL matches and picked 24 wickets with an economy rate of just over 8 an over.
CSK also bought Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, New Zealand batters Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra, and pacer Khaleel Ahmed. They now have 11 players and still have a minimum of seven players to buy with a remaining purse of Rs 16.80 crore.
