Finance Corporation (IRFC) on Monday announced its results for the second quarter ended September 2024, wherein the company reported a 4% jump in its profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 1,612.65 crore on a year-on-year (YoY) basis while the revenue from operations surged by 2%.
PAT was reported at Rs 1,544.58 crore for the same quarter of the previous financial year.
Meanwhile, the revenue from operations was reported at Rs 6,899.34 crore against Rs 6,761.02 crore reported in the year-ago period.
The profit was up by 2.2% on a quarterly basis. The same stood at Rs 1,576.82 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2024.
The company has also declared an interim dividend of Rs 0.80 per share for its shareholders, for which, the company had announced the record date as November 12, earlier in the month of October.
